Back in 2001 when I officially retired so 'obviously had time on my hands' Janice Vickers asked me if I would be interested in helping them to set up a web site for the Woking Schools Christian Action Team SCAt. Grant Harrison of Design Lynx had set up a framework and produced a super graphic which we still use as our banner heading. I picked up the design and coded it using a free 'cover version' of Hot Metal Pro 4*. However his general scheme still remains though we threw out the frames a year ago. Grant still generously provides us with free hosting at Fasthosts.
* I'll write more later about how it migrated to Nvu
I inherited our church web site as a table-based site. It's been redeveloped using Nvu to a fully standards-compliant (famous last words?) site.
Both of these sites are fairly basic but they have different look and feel which I've deliberately not attempted to alter too much. They both use different hosts one Windows-based one Linux-based. It helps to keep me awake.
